i have the starter off and moved the master but now idk what to do.

im going to take off the tranny aand replace the clutch and flywheel im at the axle pop off point almost done

well ryan! seems like you need a new throw out bearing.... but, might as well replace the whole clutch.... keep calling me every 5min and keep me posted lol. your almost there man!

did you check the return spring on the pedal assembly yet? I've broken one and it did the same thing...

also have had the throwout bearing pop out of the clutch too...to fix this you need to pull IC, starter and tranny plug (rubber thing on top of bell housing)...then get a prybar and push the bearing back into the clutch...this generally will only happen if it wasn't previously seated completely.

check the pedal assembly before you go nuts dropping the tranny, new clutch, etc, etc....

hell, one time I had the clutch fork rod back out (driving without a the plug bolt on...lol)...

let's just say I f'ed around with subaru's in a lot of ways a lot of times

 

WELL im so F***ing Pissed becuase amaco didnt put in the 10mm plug for the fork pin which made it wiggle towards the drivers side of the car. Which then means when i heard the pop it was my bell housing breaking apart.
I dont know any more i think after this im giving up the Suby life. this is just to rediculus
