it broke the bell housing?!!! did you see this with your own eyes?
if it did I'd bring it up with the POS amaco that did the work and would make them pay for it...if they refuse call the BBB and it that fails, lawyer up.

lol does suck! my housing near the starter cracked but it was shity UPS shipping. andrew is throwing a new plate on that side. speaking of my tranny, its getting shiped back tomorrow! YAY

Dont give up on your car guys, just because you run into problems.

definitely talk to Amaco about that. that is completely their fault if what you say is true and they should fix it.

yea and that is not fixable. You need a new case. We had a problem with that happening on an STi 6spd and tried to have it welded but the aluminum does not take to welding very well. But luckly the 6spd has a seperate bell housing. Amaco needs to pay to fix that. Do not let it slide.

WOW! that does suck! new housing is what ya need! Im just wondering, if the fork pin wasnt in all the way like you said, it could have put more stress on that area to make it break! just a thought.
