but i have NEVER had a problem with my 2 year old 360, froze once or twice playing rainbow six, besides that nothing. oh it ate Gears the first day but that was my fault for letting my cat knock it over.
if it did. best buy plan is FTW! hahahaha even tho mines up ina few months.
whenever i play for a handful of hours and my xbox starts to get hot i just take like a 30 min break. idk if that is why i have never had a problem or not.

Which is wierd because its right next to my lcd tv which in itself,gets hot as balls.

there is really no need for the bestbuy plan, microsoft has a 1 year warranty on the box, and a 3 year warranty if it gets the ring of death.....and its free....
on my 4th xbox now and so far no problems, my guitarhero2 randomly got a perfect scratch in it a few weeks ago and I thought the system was taking a shit again, but everything else has worked fine since then. Must've scratched it somewhere else and not noticed. My systems were lasting about an average of 3 months, but this last one I have had for over 9 months now without a problem.
on my 4th xbox now and so far no problems, my guitarhero2 randomly got a perfect scratch in it a few weeks ago and I thought the system was taking a shit again, but everything else has worked fine since then. Must've scratched it somewhere else and not noticed. My systems were lasting about an average of 3 months, but this last one I have had for over 9 months now without a problem.

^^ same here! both get real hot, then my room gets hot. so i turn them off for awhile and go cheef or get laid ahhahahaha then back at it.
i played halo3, gears, cod4, rainbowsix, and lost planet all the way thru, non-stop without a problem.

at bestbuy now they have the premium 360 including forza2 and some other game for the normal price of $350. I know on black friday they also included guitar hero II and controller. So that basically makes it at least a $500 value + whatever that other game was.
