Do I need to tune for a CAI
I have an 03' WRX w/ a 3" catless TBE, P&P TD-04 and a Process West CAI. I was wondering if I'm okay to run it without a tune? I know I'll benefit from a tune but is it safe to run without one? The car feels like it likes hte intake and runs great.
i dont think you'll blow up from driving without the tune but you'll see a BIG performance increase from a tune...

you might throw some lean codes
just put it in...if it drives like ass then take it out and wait for a tune. i put in a cai without a tune and it drove fine.

so did i but ive heard wrx dont like running cai without tunes
Does anyone have any experience with the Process West CAI? It seems to be working really well on my car and it's almost cool to the touch after driving hard. Also the sound can't be beat.
