tranny problem help

Unhappy tranny problem help

my car just one day i was driving n i noticed that when i was driving it wasn't functioning like normal in order to actually get the car movin i had 2 rev at high Rpms to acually get the car goin but the next day the car just wont move everything works perfect, i put the car in nuetral it'll rev but the weird thing is i put the car in any gear let go of the clutch n the gas n the car will sit their n idle but i put the car on these wood blocks i have so the car is in the air then i put in first gear then rev the car with out the clutch and the tires will move but yeah i donno? could it be my synchro,clutch ?? if anyone can help please do or if u can send me 2 a good tranny shop(i live in brandon) kinda cheap but i can come up with the money

wow! this one has me stumbling.... the only thing i can think of is its your clutch.

does it grind into gear?
how is your clutch pedal feel?

id honestly have to look at it!

everything is fine no grind i know that my 4 gear would kinda grind a lil lil bit when i use to drive it on the interstate n that was goin from 4th gear 2 5th but that was if i put it in gear 2 fast

i can roll out of second now cuz its in the air but if the is on the ground it wont move at all sum guy said off of nasioc its prob my clutch but i replaced it about 1300 miles back

Default your clutch is toast...

Yeah im sure its your clutch/flywheel assembly. The same thing happened to me. Only it started with when i got up to like 5k rpms and then the rpms would drop to like 2k then start going. Finally it came to that id have to redline the car to get it to even budge. Im telling you that your cluch is like annihilated. Trust me!

depending on his driving it could be that! what year is your car?

and if you just put one on then something wasnt done right!!

its an 03 wrx i did ride it hard sometimes but the aftermarket clutch was act organic n the flywheel was also act but it was a street disc performance flywheel but ny dads friend is a mechanic that owed him money but when the guy gave me my car back he was like man this car is fast i didnt know it was all wheel drive so was like awww crap so more then likelyi will replace my clutch what kinda clutch would u reccomend me 2 but ?? my friends told me 2 get a 4 spring puck thats what the organic one was o and the car only has 50,000 miles on it
