today when i was driving i noticed a squeaking noise coming from my car. So when i parked in my driveway it got noticeably worse. I found out though that the noise would go away whenever i would press in the clutch the noise would go away, and whenever i would let it out, the noise would come back.

it stopped now, but it did it for the majority of the day.

Any idea what it would be?

it's a 2007 wrx.

hmmmm that is weird.... id have to hear the noise....

but here are a few things for you to check!

timming belt!

clutch fluid!

tranny fluid!

the noise seems to be coming from the back of the engine, not near the belt. but i'll check those tomorrow. thanks!

this noise can also be from a lightweight flywheel.

I put mine on last month and it wont go away. just something i have to deal with!

but your stock right?

yeah the only thing done to it is cat back exhaust and cobb stage 1.

yeah it is haha, i need to come in for the first 3,000 oil change anyway, i just wanted to know what it could be. it's stopped now and hasnt made the noise since last night.

just a question though, would cobb accessport void the warranty if i brought it in with it still installed?

thats what i was most likely going to do, but just checking
