Didn't they also widen the gears in the wrx tranny midway during 03?
I remember someone telling on here me about that before i bought my wrx.

Yeah something about the end of the tranny code saying ba means its the 1mm thicker 3rd.My tranny has the 1mm thicker gear and it takes everything I do to it.
