can't do 3-4 either unless u have a 03 and less tranny... its what they told me... i asked for just 3-4 in my06 and they said it won't work... i could be wrong

im sure you can do a 3-4 but they have to change the whole pinon shaft.

 

ppg had stopped production on the gearsets for the push style trannies a good while back...I do wonder if they are going to revise the line as 06+ wrx's all have push/na style trannies.
Also, this is the exact reason why I never understood people (except auto-xers) doing just 1-2...

but look at the brightside, now you will be good to 800

5-6 hours to pull the tranny to pull two trannies and install one is pretty good time...drinking a few on the side
