weight on certain parts?
gut the car doesnt cost money
I think you would save more money and lose more weight by getting a lightweight battery:

get really light wheels, strip the car and go on a diet till you weight 90lbs. or hire a jockey to race your car!

Dunno if the 06's still have it, but dropping off the subframe under the front of the car will shave either 30 or 50lbs (I forget which), and its free. Also you could get a CF trunk (or just take the trunk off for the track), which will shave some more weight, get rid of all the insulation under the car, take out the door cards, back and passenger seat, etc. All of that would be much, much cheaper than ~$1800 per door for CF doors.
Edit: here you go, this is what you need from that guy's page... "ACPT Carbon fiber driveshaft". That'll help your acceleration time fo sheezy. That's one of the things on my list of things-to-get-when-I'm-alot-less-poor.
And you could also get a special set of wheels/tires for the track that have a smaller rolling diameter to help your gearing if you feel its slightly too tall.
