If I'm at 3k RPMs and I floor it in second gear and up my turbo doesn't make full boost until 4k RPMs. I was wondering what I can do to get it to spool a little quicker. I'm hitting 14.5-15 p.s.i. in 3rd, 4th and 5th. It seems like everything is right except for the spooling issue. The car is an 03' w/K&N panel filter, HKS downpipe to stock cat-back.

you could buy a boost controller!... a up pipe would help you for about 500RPM quicker

 

tgv deletes, boost control solenoid, p&p mani, p&p tb, p&p exhaust mani.... the list goes on

 

The stock WRX muffler is quite restrictive. Even just an STi takeoff (usually near $100) is a HUGE improvement. Then do the UP. Then EM.
