Dude watch the cam seal gasket and make sure you take only the up-pipe off and not the bracket. It is on the back side of the head and looks like a half moon. The bracket isnt normally involved unless you have the bolt froze on there (which we did). It is actually a simple install it just takes time to do all of it. Jacking up the motor makes taking the up-pipe in and out really easy. If you have never worked on a car before it might be alot of work. If you have it should take you 3-5 hours to change all the exhuast components.

make sure to use 6 point sockets and a breaker bar... also soak the nuts in PB for 1/2 hour before you start

it is not difficult, just a little time consuming beacuse of the cramped work area.

if you are doing the tbe too, that will make it easier because the down pipe will be out of the way

Do the turboback and the UP at the same time. You need to have the DP off to get to one of the UP nuts anyways. And get manifold->head gaskets too. If you take the UP out the bottom you need to take your manifolds off.

I would recommend taking all the heat shields off the night before and soaking all the nuts/bolts down with PB to let it sit overnight, if you have an older car.

Too bad that taking the turbo out can be a pain... oil lines, coolant lines that will likely leak all over you while you're working, reinstalling it into the inlet pipe and getting the oil return line back on. Plus you'll need those little copper rings for all the lines.
