I had an hks and it worked ok, but started to leak from where the vacuum line connected....it will also rub on your hood if you run a tmic. Other than that it does have a different system than the rest. It uses the air to pull the valve open rather than push it open, which gives it a better seal. I also noticed that you need to tweak the spring with the older adjustable ones, but I think the new ones are fixed. Either way I think you could use the money towards something that will give your car more power....just my 2 cents.

also dude if you dont get something that reciculates part of the air you run super rich for the blink of an eye since your maf is before your BOV and the ecu sends fuel for the amount of air you are supposed to have... therefore you have the famous hot fuel going down the downpipe and its all well and good if you have no cats on the car but and I repeat but this is only speculation it can melt the lead in the catalytic converter...

yeah but the only things that I can buy for 300$ that will give me some performance are up pipes/downpipes and I don't want to buy a separate downpipe since I'm planning on getting a tbe once I get a job and stop living off my savings.I could use an uppipe though....

more incorrectness.

an atmospheric BOV will never do wonders. you will require a blow-thru maf setup in order to not have problems with a atmospheric BOV.

why spend $300 to make your car run worse, when you can spend it on making it run better and faster?

i have an up pipe for sale $40 if you want it. it's a nice erz flex pipe. def. replace your up pipe if you haven't already. you could also get a down pipe for less than $200 and still spend less than the $300 you would on an hks bov.

I have had a lot of BOV's ....HKS, GFB, Stock, TXS, etc. The best one IMO is the stock....second to that is the GFB 50/50 my car runs much better with the 50/50 GFB than it ever ran with my HKS SSQV.
