Is anyone else going? I signed up for the Safe Motorsports Club and will be running in the second group # 5.

You dont have to do anything to you car to take it to the track... the problem is going to be your brake pads... you are going to cook them in a day if you are using a compromise pad or street/track pad if your brakes can make it there is nothing else you need to do. Typicall you also have to do some type of tech inspection... alot of places have a very informal tech sheet that you can do yourself. You also need a helmet typically a motorcycle helmet will work as you are not racing and do not need an SA helmet.

Safe motorsports is around $225 for the day and they use an open track format so you can get tons of track time you just have no instructor.... chin motorsports is a great way to get to the track and really learn alot about your car.
