external wastegates
Yeah, I kind of miss the stealth that I had with an IWG but I don't think I'll replumb mine. EWG FTW!
I have had 2 different external setups that have been dyno'd before and after plumbing into downpipe and I did not loose any power. this has also been tested many times and proven not to loose power.
bottom line: if you like the noise keep it, if you dont then plum it back in

no the curves werent any different. no I dont have the dyno charts because this was years ago. so long as the wastegate is plumbed in more than 18in from the turbo your fine. this topic has been beaten to death over the years, there are plenty of 600+whp 4 cyl cars with plumbed in/ closed loop wastegates.... its all in what you want so do what your heart desires.
