BTW, you have more then 1 stereo plug. If some previous owner cut off the stock plug, there is another plug further down the dash where you can unplug the harness. Then get a new harness from subaru or a part out or something, and then the universal adapter. you NEVER need to hardwire a stereo.

yes. IIRC the STIs were only missing the actual head unit and speakers, all the wiring should still be there. but don't hold me to it.
