Default Omfg

tranny is in but its not working properly its not letting me shift into gears if the cars at idle i can go up thru the gears but cant downshift them like the clutch isnt fully depressed or the release bearing releasing here ans example im in 1st after i turned the car off start the car as soon as my foot is off the brakewith the clutch fully depressed the car will begin to roll any1 have any ideas ima bout to go nuts

you might have tightened the flywheel to the clutch? i dont know good luck. i would try callin a few shops

It sounds like the clutch isn't fully disengaging and you need to adjust the clutch pedal travel. There should be some lock nuts on the pedal that can adjust the stroke. If that helps but you run out of travel, service manual says to adjust the pushrod on the clutch master cylinder.

what shifter fork did you use? and what clutch(as in wrx or sti)?

i have the sti short throw and the sti clutch

sorry i meant are you using an sti clutch fork?

did the trans come with one in it? did you install the trans?
