Im actually ordering the SE RA gears soon just to be on the safe side for future mode....like vf34,sti pinks,je pistons, magnus intake manifold, protune.

I just think there is no need for a 5k clutch drop in first gear! like most of you are probably doing. just to shave a zilla sec off your 60ft.

You won't have a problem on the 05 tranny just being stage 2. Most of the tranny's you read about are from 02-03 WRX's which have a weak set of synchros and the gears are not as beefy. Getting a RA set on a 05 is pointless since the 05 gears are just as sturdy and beefy as a RA set. I rarely hear of anyone blowing a tranny or gear in 1st.....it is typically 2nd or 3rd. I wouldn't worry about it with your mods though, your car is fairly stock compared to mine and I haven't had any problems. Just don't drive like an ass hat.

P.s. You don't "drop" the clutch on these cars, doing that will fuck things up quickly. Learn the art of slipping the clutch, it is a hard balance to learn. To much slip and you burn the clutch up......no slip and ou mess the tranny up or bog. But get it just right and the tires will chirp and throw your ass back in the seat.

Being stage 2 you wont have any issues with an 05 tranny, Im currently running a 39 with a handfull of bolt ons at 18+ psi with no problems.

Knock on wood.
