235/40/18s here and I have the same rub during U-turns, it doesnt really bother me.

LOL, well at least I'm not the only one. But what about that small metal piece that sticks out that's cutting my tire? Any ideas? My friend said it looked like the metal peice that keeps the plastic fender wall in place.

There are tabs metal that come off your fender that have plastic clips that hold the fender liner in place. I havent had that problem though, good luck solving it.

I was thinking most people ran 225/40/18 but i could be wrong so the 235's are alittle wider.

yea but people run 245s with no problem on nasioc and some that ive seen at the meets thats what im getting when i get my new weheels
