Car wasn't ready tonite, but....it is almost there. just a few hoses and little things to install should be ready early tmorrow around 1pm at the latest. Snowman we should be cool for 6pm or so.

Guess what......IT's ALIVE!!!!! Some one may have spotted her on a flat bed tow truck this evening ...if not don't worry you'll see it on the road on Friday!
She's running smooth, thanks to Mike Ranlet at XAT and Snowmann for making the trip out to see me.the car is really good I couldn't be happier.

Only minor things that have come up...such as now it rattles a bit...could be due to those Stiff STi mounts I put on. and that solid billet Tranny pitch stop.

And second...now my boost gauge doesn't work???? I unplugged the vaccum line and its sucks so I'm confused...I check it out more when I get a chance...
But hey if thats the worst thing that could happen after a build like this.. then I'm very pleased!!

If you see me on the streets give me a shout, I
d luv to get your opinion on how it looks...no speeding for a while...gotta break her in right...after the 17th (re-tune by Snowmann) look out its all fair game lol!
I'll try to make it out to one of the meets as soon as I get her all together completely.

It was nice to work on an ingellegently designed car - for a change

I'll have to take a look at the rattles and boost gauge issue when you're in next.

 

Thanks Mike!...It turns out it was the boost gauge that was bad apparently. I ordered a new one. Should have it in a few days, just got to play it by ear and not hit that boost.

Its been hard not to do that....sooooo tempting ...but that repair bill is still too new! Not looking forward to doing that again.
