the sti's 6 speed is tricky...
evo 5 speed is more ummm mechanical in feel...its pretty damn hard to mis shift
its real easy to miss 3rd or 4th on the sti...even good drivers miss.

how exactly can ignition cut cause detonation and fuel cut not? i would think fuel cut would cause detonation (no fuel = lean?). I always went by the idea that ignition cut speed limiter was better then fuel cut, so how is this different?

The ignition cut is clutch activated allowing flat changing (the ability to change gear without removing your foot from the throttle).

no fuel = only air. you can't have detonation without fuel, because air does not ignite.
edit: it is a caused lean condition.

Its going to be awhile (maybe 2 updates) before Enginuity releases this feature.
