Default Tranny fluid change

How do you do it? Anyone have a detailed write-up anywhere? I know its probably very simplistic but I want to make sure I do it right.

Also where can I find some redline, and what weight would be best?

Thanks in advanvce guys.

you need a T70 torx bit. just jack the car and on the bottom of the trans you'll see the torx bolt. unscrew and drain. clean bolt, put it back in, and fill her up with 3.7 qts.

the thread i posted about redline listed a few places. but i'll suggest the motul, my tranny loves it.

I personally use Amsoil on all my fluids. Except for my brakes I use Motul 600.

75-90 for the oil. amsoil is also a good choice.

if you dont want to wait i have a t60 that i use for it. or you can pick up a t60 at sears. it's a little small but works fine.

I never tried it. I heard bad things about using redline products on sti tanny. Dont really know about Royal Purple.

Try i-club or even Nasioc. They should know: The Do's and Dont's!
