Last week i was getting on my 05 wrx going north on little rd, slammed into third, then, pop, and a bunch of grinding. Like, if u put a bunch of nails in a blender and put it on chop! haven't heard of too many blowing third. you might have a chance with doing that, but just in case i wouldn't bet on it.

they can tell if u have done somehitn to the car... an jsut by gettin the tune they can say no because its increasing the power hence more stress on the tranny

The only way you may have a chance is if you put it back to stock, but even then, you never know. Good luck though.

It doesn’t matter, I blew first and damaged second and reverse. And I paid for it. And all I had was a tune and turbo back. When it comes to the trannys in these cars they can tell when it would be covered under warranty. There is no way to blow the gear if you drive it normally. Trust me I know the pain of how much it costs to get it all fixed. However I have heard stories of people getting it covered under warranty. I tired and failed, I have almost the same mods you have and I went all back to stock and it didn’t make a difference. Good luck either way.
