Hey guys. I was called last night to sit in on drums for this band that is playing in town tonight. They are on a tour from Iowa, and lost their drummer after the last gig. They are called Matthew Grimm and the Red Smear, they play a punk sound like Social Distortion. This is a cool place, and all the bartenders were super hot.

I think I met you before at one of the Old Chicago meets. You were in another band before, right?

But the show yesterday went off surprisingly well for having to sit in after only listening to the tunes for less than a day, and never rehearsing with them.
