Default Cams or N2O?

I have found Helix 264* cams for $550 shipped. For $250 I could get a nitrous kit and have another $300 to spend on something else like tuning

Cams
Pros:
More powerband
Cool loping sound
Never need to be refilled
People dont get scared away from buying the car when you say it has cams
Cams arent "cheating"

Cons:
Could make the turbo spool slower
May wear out stock valvesprings (upgraded valvetrain is $450)
Could cause engine damage due to higher RPM and low oil supply at high RPM (STi engine design sucks for high RPM oiling)
Loss of low RPM torque

N2O
Pros:
More power everywhere
More power than cams will add
Instant boost
Adjustable power output
Able to be used in more than one vehicle
Cools the intake temps (Like meth)

Cons:
If not set up properly it could screw me
Most people get scared away from buying the car when they know the motor has been sprayed
Some people think its cheating and they bitch about it
Needs to be refilled ($2-$3 per pound)

I have had a car that had both done and I gained more for the N2O (0.4 second from cams and 1.1 seconds with a 75 shot). I could have been faster if I had better tires.

If you have anymore pros/cons for either please post them up. For the record, nitrous DOES NOT cause more stress on the engine. Horsepower is horsepower no matter how it is gained.

Here are my mods:
ACT Street Disc w/ Heavy Duty Pressure Plate
AEM EMS
APS BOV
APS DR 500 Stealth Black FMIC
APS DR Fuel Rail Kit
APS Short Ram Intake
ARP Headstuds
B&B Tri Flo Cat-Back
Cometic Head Gaskets
Forced Performance Green Turbo
GT Spec Gen II Header w/ Up-Pipe
Kartboy Shifter Bushings
Koyo Radiator
Modded WRX Injectors
MRT 3" Divorced Downpipe
Perrin Turbo Inlet Hose
STi 2.5L Longblock
STi non-DCCD 6 Speed
STi R180 Read End
STi Group N Motor & Tranny Mounts
Tial 50mm BOV w/ 11LB Spring
Tial 44mm Wastgate w/ 13LB Spring
Walbro 255LPH Fuel Pump
Wiseco Forged Pistons

Thanks,
Frankie

Well add up the pros and cons of each power adder and see witch one suits you needs/wants. As far as Helix's quality, do some research on it and decide for yorself...

Head work is expensive and I dont want to remove the heads. I know I could port them myself but I dont have a flowbench or know anyone with one.

I want to road race the car. Thats the only reason I'm thinking of not spraying it. I could use the AEM to control the spray so it could be used to spool the turbo coming out of a corner.

I was just talking to my friend about it. He thinks I should get the cams cuz they would be the best bet for road racing. His reason for not running meth was the car will make "enough" power as it is but I guess the cams will make more power too but move the powerband up.

I cant drive the car for another month anyways (even if it was done) so I have some time to think about it.
