Yeah, probably hard for that turbo to hold 20 psi

The heat shouldn't make a difference because SS puts in different wastegate duty cycles based on temperature......so if it gets extremely hot then the turbo ahould just work harder to make more boost. are you running stock tmic or SRI? My car makes 20psi now at any temp, it just spools a little quicker and hits a little harder during cooler weather.
When it did this what kind of symptoms were you seeing? Would it hold one day and then not the next? Did it affect spool time any?

didn't notice the spool time but yes it was random at times. At first it was boost was everywhere , somedays I would hit 18psi....then somedays only 16.....then out of the blue I would hit my target 20 psi. However it started getting consistent and only hitting like 17.5 PSI. It was driving me insane because I couldn't find any boost leaks and boost was on point when SS was tuning it for like 15 passes straight.
