good guess, head gasket is fine.

new turbo that i already had will be going on this week/next week. and i will be back stronger than ever

that's good to hear. glad it wasn't anything major, well not to the point where it was a part you didn't already have and plan on changing.

yes and no.

i only had 15,000 mile son the turbo. i paid a lot of money for a part that crapped out on me. WTF? hopefully it will be able to be rebuilt

Yes it sucks, but consider yourself lucky. Could have been muuuuuch worse. Let us know how the new one runs bud.

well just got the word. car should be put back together by this afternoon. seems the turbo went due to the fact that the BOV could not vent enough air fast enough, thus creating compressor surge. Dustin has yet to exzamine the turbo to see exzactly what went wrong with it. but i am sure i'll find out soon.
