2.5 shortblock install?
yeah, what is jblianes website? Hopefully I can get like 2 or 3 really experienced and knowledeable guys to help.

taking the engine in and out is not hard. its putting everything back on and back to spec. i have learned my lesson about doing this swap. you need a 6speed tranny with it. the swap creates more hp than the 5speed can hold.

Also, Ithink Mantra had a stock 02 tranny with RA gears and that thing lasted to this day. He takes his car to Sebring and races with it......or did

02 tranny is shit, compair`d to RA gears...
the syncros, gears, anbd clutch all need to be replaced when doing the swap, or will need to be soon there after...
all depends on what YOU want to do. straight line stuff stick with the 5 speed and up grade the hell out of it. track, or anything with turns find a used 6 speed and go from there.
i would recomend the Exedy twin disk, bu tit is expesnsive. so you migh5t want to go with the set up Faded went with. he is happy with it, and it wasnt that expensive from what i remember.
