Will the STi cast Y-pipe work with a MY04 WRX stock I/C? I'm almost positive it will bolt to the I/C, but unsure if the small silicone elbow will reach the stock turbo or need any modification.

Thanks but I have an STi one coming in the mail, picked it up for rly cheap. Just wondering if I'm going to need to mod that elbow to make it work.

you shouldn't need to mod it. but you probably won't get anything from it either.

The reason I picked this one up is because I sold my AM TMIC with cast y-pipe. The stock WRX TMIC y-pipe just looks horrible, I refuse to use it.

I do believe these provide a bit quicker spool and smoother throttle response. Driveability is the most important thing to me. This is why I'm going back to the stock turbo and ditching the vf34. Waiting till 3500 to spool is too laggy for me.
