OK, WTF is up with this?

In my eyes the only real way to fix the problem is to either port the wastegate on the TD04 of get a larger turbo.

do a little research..... in most cases porting the stock turbo is a waste of time.
there are better way`s to get the desired effect. the flow properties of the air are flowing a lot more quickly because the A/F ratio is leaner, thus making it hotter. ie. hotter air flows faster, reaching boost sooner than normal.
the ECU doesnt know what to do with this, so it just stops sending fuel.
the reflash, cobb, or what ever managmen you decide to go with, will balence out the fuel mappinng and correct the timing. and sort of teach your ECU what to look for, and tell it that making set boost, isnt a bad thing.

Sounded a little hostile...
Anyway, so basically what I said is true in the fact that the pressurized air is doing the same thing, only when tuned properly, the ECU knows what to do with the extra air. That's as I suspected, just wanted to clarify.

How odd would that be...two guys fighting each other on a forum - and neither of them live close to where the forum is based!
