what a great dilema to have.
IF you go used, find a LOW mileage, DRY TOAST, BONE STOCK example to get.
not one returned to stock either......
do the usual carfax BS, too, as thas something else that could lead to a less-than-ideal ownership experience....
the 06 is better (IMO) than the 05, and the 05 is better than the 04.
by this, i mean refined, mostly. the ride is slightly plusher on the 06 (fin STI terms i mean), but the 05 has a microbounce phenomen (stock springs and struts) that can drive ya nuts. the 04's have a known strut clunk issue (not all, i dont think)....... all sorta tradeoffs, really........
best thing to do is search with an open mind, and compare the examples of each M.Y. you can find.... (i'd be happy to check em out w/ya!)
a low mileage stock 04 is prolly better than a modded-out 05, and so on..........
ya saavy?
