To address your question about the intake....I think it's all a lot of hype personally. I won't get into the whole area of whether or not they are needed/make a huge difference (that's a whole other debate) but I personally haven't seen any one have a problem with an intake, other then sucking up water on a CAI. I've yet to see a car run lean and have the cause be nailed down to the intake.

There is a lot of misunderstanding and misinformation in the Suby community (just like any other car), so take what you hear/read with a grain of salt. But, what do I know, I drive a truck.
