Default 2.2l Stroker?

What does it take (parts wise) to go through with this, I <3 downtime, so I will probably buy an extra wrx block to do this, I know I need to buy sleeves and the whole nine, but I wanna know exactly what I need to do this.

I was going to buy a 2.5 from bobnissan, but due to problems with the transaction I am going to just do a 2.0 -> 2.2

Crankshaft, rods, pistons (maybe), and sleeves? There are kits out there to do it. I just really haven't investigated them. I don't want to get any ideas.

Just a guess, actually. While you're at it, have the heads ported. Will help with flow into the new larger displacement.

Why not just get a new EJ257(5) shortblock?

cobb tuning is the only company i know that makes an affordable 2.2l strocker block. Theres a vendor on i club that offers a core refund for the kit. The going price is around $2300-$2500. Core refund i think is $500. Just buy an STI block. save yourself the hassle and money and know that its made from the manufacturer to be balls out strong

IMO the best way to have a 2.2L is get one from an old turbo Legacy. The 2.2L is closed deck and can handle a buttload of boost with the right internals.
