Saturday`s install day
woahh dooood. that is crazy. yea i really wasnt paying attention to what you guys were doing next to me.. i was in a hurry to try and do some stuff on my car....
man, i am sorry.
i would recomend once you get the line on there. to drain it all. refill it with what ever oil you use. then drive it for like a 100 miles and change it again.
if you want i can get you on post again and we can do it there.

Damn, that is no good. It musta barely been on there and just popped off or something. Luckily there are worse things that could happen...
Like me buying springs and then reading that they are like the worst springs ever made!

^^ if you want some great springs, and just springs. i would recomend the *new* perrin springs. they are a complete redesign...
highly recomend them. and my second choice would be the H&R`s, and that is who design`d the perrin springs...

There isn't anything wrong the Teins if your just looking for a lower car. If your looking for pristine handling, etc. then I'd say they definitely aren't the ones you want.
It's my fault for not paying complete attention. I thought we had it on there, guess just not tight enough. I should be able to get to it without taking the turbo off, just need to get the DP out of my way so I'll finish that up tonight, fill it with regular Dino oil and a filter and like Dave said about a 100 miles or so drain it completely and put in what I normally use. I bought a 5 quart jug of Castrol GTX Dino yesterday just to get it home slowly, figured the thicker oil would be best to limp it home on. Oh well, shit happens and I'll get her done. Hell guess I COULD put my Vishnu DP on if I wanted while I have the stocker off again, lol...

LOL, trust me I was pissed last night. I was out there tearing it apart in my damn suit and tie, just because I was damn angry and didn't want to even take the minute or two to change.
I had to drive my lil' Brother's 05's V6 mustang today. My god man what a slow, slush boxed piece...

Mustang... ew... poor guy. I had one of those as a rental once. An Auto V6 is like insult to injury.
As far as that oil line, dave was saying it really helps to have a lift to get it back together right..
I really want the slammed look, i dont even use 10% of the car's handling ability. I drive in straight lines and i like it to look good when i wash it, thats it. But, Everyone was saying the S-techs lower the car too much and decrease handling, increasing body roll, etc. And they are so low that they cause the car to constantly hit the bump stops, seriously reducing the lifespan of the stock struts. I searched on NASIOC and there was like 70% saying they are a death sentance on the car, and like 30% said they liked them and defended them. It was really mixed, could the amount of people complaining possibly had those springs on and had problems, who knows.
I just dont know at this point... maybe i will just put them on and down the road if the struts go out ill buy a whole new setup or a used setup.

A lift would be nice BUT can't wait that long. I can get to it no problem under the car, just need the DP out of the way and I should be able to get it back on and tight.
Shadetree mechanics man, it's how I've always rocked...
