Default fmic installed... sz49 soon

Well I finished the installation of the XSPower (TurboXS) intercooler over the weekend. Good fitment and looks great. No leaks or any other problems. I just received my SZ49, UR uppipe, and tial 38mm yesterday (no pics yet). As soon as I get the supporting mods I will be installing it.

I will be out at the old chicago meet this sat with hkswrx. I have the turbo in my backseat if anyone wants to have a look. Also, if anyone wonders why I limp around when I walk, I was involved in a motorcycle accident this past April. I had a nasty spill on my gsxr 1000 and shattered my femur (right leg), among other things. Heres a pic of the titanium rod holding my leg together and 2 screws going into my pelvis.

Well I have ecutek, so I will just have bill retune when I'm ready. I will also run an avcr. That is my mom's trooper. My dad is selling his ford f150 and gray trooper, and his FZ1, R6, and ZX12R. He owns 3 vehicles and seven bikes. He just bought a 2005 hayabusa; I love it! I'll get a picture of my garage sometime...

Hey Scott,

What were your final #s with your sz49? I hope to get close to 380 on pump and close to 400 whp with the smc alcohol injection kit (if I decide to go with it).

bro...

not to rain on yer parade, but the sz49 needs ALOT of tuning to make it right. the curves on the fuel/timing on this turbo are unlike all others around. it'll be a much more involved task than just a 'clean-up' of sorts. please be ready for that. (plus, avc-r setup and optimazation requires great diligence too....)

it WILL work well, and can be done, but be ready for a serious tune (mine took quite a bit from a guy that already did a sz49 before)....

pm me if you want details/data/info....
