has anyone ever traded a wrx in? i wonder how much i could get for my 2004

not as much as if you were to private sell.........


(black book values) > (blue book values)

also, mods aren't worth a dern ona trade. vechicle condition and mileage are the real factors...

If you can, find a dealer that used either their own blackbook or NADA. Don't go by KBB.

My car, according to KBB, it's worth about $17k trade-in. According to NADA it's worth $24,800 trade-in.

$22k? Fat chance. New 2005's are going for that much. You can probably get around $18k imo.

Remember whatever they offer in trade is worth 7% more in sales tax avoidence.
Plus if you are making payments you may have to make a couple more before you find a buyer.
