i just did my car on NADA and it gave me a $15,425 trade in value.

03 wrx wagon with 62,000 miles.

if i got 15,000 from the dealer i would be very happy, but i highly doubt it will happen here in FL. back home it would be easy.

I sell cars, wen you drive your vehicle of the lott it looses 25% of the price you paid for it, after that is 34 cents per mile. Miles and age have a huge factor in the trade in value. Also any thats not stock on the car its gonna hurt the value. The best thing is to sell private, but then you have strange people going to your house and wanting to drive your car, plus usually someone does not have cash so they have to get financed, but usually the private sell value is about 1,500$ more than trade inn so its not a huge difference

definitely privat sell. Banks will usually give up to 115% of the value of the car on a used loan so there is a good chance of getting what you need/want out of it. Also you could run into a person desperate for one. I sold my 97 neon that had 140,000 miles on it and some stuff done to it to a guy for like $4750. I think it was worth like $1900. You never know.
