Thanks for the help. Now what are some good companies I have heard only good things about cobb but who else makes good subaru parts?

i am thinking the cobb stage 1 handling kit. which is front and rear strut bars and rear sway bar. good first mod?

there is no cutting involved in the snorkel removal, atleast for my 02 there wasn't.

I think y'all are talking about two different things here.

Snorkel = inlet pipe (from top of radiator to fenderwell) no cutting necessary
Silencer= u shaped resonator in the fenderwell
(between snorkel and airbox) cutting necessary.
