Yep.....he is stuck paying the ticket! Most people don't know that if you mod an exhaust........even if it is as quite as stock, it is still a traffic violation. The only thing your boy can do is take it to court and pray that the officer doesn't show.......and just in case he does .....get a receipt from an exhaust shop showing that he replaced it with one that is stock and then beg the judge to have mercy on him! Personally, I would just pay it! Unless it is a fix it ticket.......then just throw on the stock axleback ......ride up to the police station to let them verify and pay the $5......then throw your exhaust back on Just pm BLACKREX he has first hand experience.....JFWY Mike!

Wait a min wouldn't this mean that they have to prove that it was /is louder? Still would require a DB meter at the least.
