who can help me w/ the install??

maybe we can incorporate it into sunday's affairs.....

813_05_STi....you able to shed any light on this, and the easiest way to hack/remove the oem unit (i am not wanting to touch the intake mani!)
The stock unit is very soft plastic and hack saw blade will rip right through it. once you get the 2 nipples off it slides right out. If your going to slide it in lube is the way to go seriously. I saw 2-3 threads on club w where ppl put gouges in there tubes trying to stuff it in there. Perrin is a perfect fit. Going through all the trouble of taking your IM off is crazy you can find the oem tubes on ebay sometimes for 3-4 bucks. Incase you ever need to back to stock to sell the car. Best of luck

Just helped Mantra do his last night it really wasn't to bad. It wasn't even a perrin, so perrin should be easy. Didn't fix his prob. though. Think it might be the turbo whining. Be glad to help out no comp. necessary. LMK
