FS: WRX gearset

I've posted this at NASIOC.com, but I figure I'll post here for locals as well just in case.

I proactively upgraded to STI RA gears and new synchros. This is what came out of the tranny. You can see that the stock aluminum 3-4 shift fork and steel 3-4 shift rod are included (that one is brand new, I reused my stock one), as well as the synchros, etc.

These gears are in PERFECT shape. The car was launched 9 times since delivery 8/2001 (at 4000-4500RPM).

Damn, was thinking that I might be able to pick up an entire tranny, if not just the tranny case cheap and local. Oh well.

Located in St. Petersburg off of 22nd Ave. There's an exit off 275 for it even.

I love them. It completely changes the car, especially with the stock turbo still. Turbo spool? What's that? You are constantly in the powerband unless you go out of your way to get cruise RPMs, which means 5th gear almost always unless you're doing less than 35mph.

It's not for everybody, and it's expensive, but I am glad I did it for the increase in gear strength alone. They're not for your casual or "showy" WRX owner.

They have slowed my interstate driving down too, which is a good thing (80MPH at 4000RPM gets old real quick).
