After the Ecutek you will not see it as much. You will have the problem if you really get on it in 5th or 6th gear or if you get near 155mph which ever you do first. So the answer is now Ecutek will not eliminate it completly just minimize it.

Now I have a question, how hard is it to port the waste gate? What part do I need? I know I saw this before on here...

Exactly. And why pay $175 for it? All that's required is to grind down one small area on the wastegate. You don't even have to touch the flapper mating area so there's nothing to be too scared of.

EDIT: If the $175 includes removal and install I can see it being a little better but $175 for a minor port seems a bit much.

Be careful with doing too much to your turbo.

We had one car with a ported turbo and we had all kinds of problems tuning it. Just make sure its done right.
