He's talking about either a bad port job or far too much of a port job. Either way, it doesn't apply to you if you simply follow the links posted by Billy. People have had issues with porting the flapper hole but none that I've seen have had any issues with simply grinding down the leading edge of the inlet.

I would still suggest a replacing the turbo if you have the cash.

I don't know what the popular street turbo is these days for the EJ257 but I would think an external wastegate setup is overkill.

I just wouldn't spend the $175.00 to attempt to repair a borderline crappy turbo. If you have the cash you should do it once and do it right. :thumbsup:
