I was also looking at the Greddy EVO2. it says the sound is under 95 db but i have a friends with one on his integra and it is NOT under 95 db. And if it was under 95, how much more loud would it be after a uppipe and downpipe?

I'd also keep in mind weight. Not sure on the Subaru but on Honda applications the Greddy pieces, made with mild steel and powdercoated, were heavy as hell. Might want to look into complete stainless systems as they run a good deal lighter.

Also, nobody suggested the TXS stealthback? I'm seriously considering this setup on the STi as I'll be able to retain the stock muffler (which I don't mind), pick up a few horses, lose some weight, and remain quiet (big plus).
