WRX or SRT4
theyre both nice cars. but the wrx is ALOT more comfortable and has a nicer interior. the srt4 seats are gonna hurt your ass. but what i dont like about the wrx is that a boost gauge is like an extra 180 bux when it comes standard in an srt4.
but if it was me. id get a wrx. mainly because its not fwd and it just looks nicer. and subaru is much more reliable than dodge.

If you can get them to throw the boost gauge into the deal when you buy the car that's the best way to go
.
If not, just buy the gauge pod and buy a replacement gauge to go into it that is more accurate and nicer. The Omari gauges are really nice and actually match the gauges unlike the one you'll get from Subaru.

i have decided that wrx is waybetter than the srt4 and have had alot of people respond saying they would much rather have a wrx not only cause its awd and made by a better more reliabkle company but because they are just better in every aspect compared to the dodge.
Was wondering what the best HP plus mods would be to do first, and would get my car running better from the begining, and hopefully get it into the 12's or low 13's

i agree with billy. definayley a boost controller and full exhaust. another cheap upgrade would be an intake from injen or aem. but i see alot of people saying dont bother with intake but i dont know why
can someone explain?

Ok, if you throw an intake on the WRX and do nothing else you run into a few issues.
1) the car isn't tuned for the larger bore pipe and you can screw up the ECU readings.
2) you'll hear alot of times that a CAI doesn't do much since the air still has to go through a turbo and the intercooler.
My stance is this...tune for the larger bore readings that you get at the MAF sensor and compensate for the extra air that is coming in (not necisarrily any cooler) to the engine. You will see benefits in those cases and there is no arguing about it. All the arguments come from people who throw a CAI on a stock tuned WRX and see no improvement or throw a CEL.
If you tune for the mod, you will see the advantage ot if.
PS: I tried to type this as well as I could while being plenty drunk. If I made spelling errors or small errors in abbreviations, etc....FUCK OFF!

injen and aem intakes replace the MAF housing, by doing that it will create a lean environment, thats how it makes power, by leaning it out, but by doing that you also run the risk of blowing something expensive once you turn the boost up, the stock airbox itself isn't all that restrictive, same with the maf housing, its the silencer before the airbox and the paper filter
