how many EJ20's do 8's 9's or 10's and is a street car. Or even the EJ25? How many EJ20's make over 800hp and use a stock crank? The 4g63 is a WELL proven engine. The turbo EJ25 is a new concept that has not been proven.

And the crankwalk was somehow a american fuck up, because it didn't happen consitantly to the 4g36's assembled overseas.

two things..

First, ZATE hey guy I may be driving in a white coffee drinkers car... But at least I dont have to drive a penis extension
And besides were not all Linux Admins making 903904839230942394823094$ a year so I had to buy what I could afford and liked.

Second,

How many built up subarus do you see period??? I have like only seen 3 opposed to the 500000 HONDAS and MAZDAS

Mike, you're posting in the Subaru Forum so the EJ motors are going to god here so there really isn't a point to get worked up about it. I think both engines are in all honesty really incredible.

Honestly, most people that own a EVO, WRX, STi could give a rats ass if the motor is capable of 500hp or 1000hp in theory as most people that own one will never test the limits at that extreme level.

The point is that they already make 227, 250, 270, 300hp with AWD and all cost under $30,000 and all easily make much more power for under $2,000 in parts. There's nothing to get upset about.

STi.

mainly because of seeing how much SOA cares about their customers. i was at the subaru challenge & was impressed a car company would put on such an event for owners! plus the STi looks better, has the DCCD & there are many local people who know how to extract lots of HP out of the EJseries & one dealer in particular who is quite helpful to the modded subaru's & i'll be by tomorrow for my "coolant conditioner"

Flame Suit On

the thing people forget about the 2.0l vs 2.5l is that overseas the 2.0l STi is still making bigger numbers than the EVO granted its only 10hp and like 12 ft/lbs of tq but last time I checked thats still more.

Also in the US you dont see those crazy large numbers from the EJ20 because we haven't had it for the past 15 years like you DSM guys have, but again if you look over sees you will see those numbers. I honestly believe when the WRX gets to the same age as the first gen talons, GSX's and lasers they will be in the same category because parts will be cheaper and the american know how will be there with it as well.

now again Ive said it before, I love the EVO, the REAL EVO, not the US watered down EVO, its the techno goodies that give the EVO its balls, and other than being a fast car it seems that mitsu neutered it. I just cant wait to see a spec c vs rs showdown in the us, the spec c seems to lap faster than the RS in japan but it would still be a close call.

This is the way I see it -

Mitsubishi has taken 8 tries to produce the best product they can.
Subaru has done the same in only 3...
