On the cats and N/A....what they said ^

On the coating issue...Florida is actually a pretty moist & salty atmosphere that will surley corrode uncoated steel in no time. Don't scrimp, buy the coated. And whatever you DO NOT use header wrap unless you like replacing the headers every year...header wrap actually accelerates corrosion.

They do make a good point regarding the added back pressure with the cat on a NA engine.

the headers aren't uncoated but its either like heat resistant paint or coated. Coating is 200 bux. I might get the twe headres that are coated but are less than the cobbs.

It looks like the argument for or against cats boils down to +/-2 hp. That's not something I'd really miss. I couldn't tell much difference when I gutted my uppipe! I think the biggest thing is, cats keep your car from smelling like fuel. My brother's SR stinks with no cat. We're actually going to put it back on. Screw the earth... I just don't want the car to stink!

its not the hp I'm really concerned about. Its more the 150-200 bux more for the cat, so if its going to take away hp and cost me money, screw it.
