Default Please Help

I have a 02 WRX with only a CAI and BOV. Inotice a drop in preformance so I took it to Mastro they said the ECU was seeing the right boost. That was it from them and they charged me 40 bucks to tell me it is ok, it's still under warenty. So bought a boost gauge and no mater where I put it (off the BOV hose, off the manifold, off the turbo) it never reads higher than 7 PSI. I think it maybe the factory boost soleniod? Any Ideas? Thanks Paul

You sure you didn't fuck up your BOV CAI install?

Nothing was messed up on the install it run fine with the set up for 15k miles. just happened all of the sudden. Is there any way to test the boost seloniod ( subaru calls it a duty valve) or does anybody have one lieing around from when they took out there OEM for a aftermarket boost controller. Thanks for the help.

Those "shitty GFB BOV" has handled a car running 30psi of boost. Most of the time its people spraying WD40 into the valve and wondering why its gunked up.

put some soapy water around where the BOV mounts to the IC and rev the motor manually from under the hood, see if its bubbling up, that means the gasket at the bov is bad. but also the factory boost solenoid only alows you to see full boost in 3rd-4th gear.

Did you play with any boost lines? Missing any resistors... I ran on 7psi once... im to lazy to order new boost lines so I put my mbc back on...

EGT Limp mode gives you 7psi but you would see a cel also with it.
