I'd take the car back to Mastro w/ the boost gauge attached and show them it isn't right. I would attach gauge to the line running off the BOV as that's where Subaru recommends tapping boost readings for the OEM gauge. I would also consider taking the CAI and BOV off just to avoid making an asshat out of yourself if that ends up being the problem. Who installed the aftermarket parts?

I'd also kindly ask for my $40.00 back. (assuming it's really off and you didn't "hose" it up.)

First of all I would like to thank you all for tryin to help me out. Second I tried the soap and water thing on all hoses and conections. Everything is tight. Also when I did take it to mastro the said the computer was seeing "stock full boost" and they yelled at me for having my boost gauge on the BOV hose saying that was the worst place for it. so if the computer is see full boost than it can't be in limp mode correct? Thanks Agian Paul

im totally lost as to whats going on with mastro and what they are telling you.... but if it is in limp mode i would imagine as someone previously has said it would trigger a CEL...

that said, it makes it sound like it is primarily a mechanical issue, i.e. boost leak or hose or something... those gaskets are a pain in the ass... the BOV ones are dumb crush type ones and i hate em, so to insure i have NOT a problem, i use a real tiny bit of RTV around the bottom and top of the gasket whomever can call me an idiot, but it works just fine, and ive never had a leak from the flange since

What kind of boost gauge did you have installed? Who installed it? Find someone with another WRX and swap boost solenoids to see if anything changes.
