Default New times

Went to BMP last night, track prep sucked but I got the idea of what the car should do if I can keep it togather

holy shit... trapping at 120 for an AWD car! whoa!

but wait.... there must be more there... your 60 ft times look like they should come down some, so.... shouldnt you be trapping WELL over 120 and in the 11's on a cool night with decent "prep" as you said it was shitty? this is all just reasoning, ill never fully understand a damn fast car like that...

good slip nevertheless

im banking on some 11.70-80 ish times next thursday as long as there is no breakage. Im gonna fool with the suspension some and see if i can prevent it from lifting and unloading the front end so bad. That seems to be causing alot of tire spin. After I launch the front end comes up so high that the car is only using the outsides of the front tires. I think by stiffening the car it may help the tires stay more firmly planted on the track. its sort of funny because w/ an AWD car the idea of getting it to hook up goes against everything you learn w/ a RWD car.

i never thought AWD - traction would be a problem

anyhow, after my dumb jokes.... would one of those Anti-lift kit things help? with the alk it stops positive suspension castor i think? therefore not allowing the tires to cruise up on the outside treadblock like that? ?? would that work, or do you have some different suspension stuff done anyhow? ive only ever seen the car on a trailer, so i cant remember if its lowered?

beauty of awd although if i launched hard enough on stock/wheels/tires.... i could spin fronts through an intersection...

Nice times Sam! Definitely stout for having so many stock parts still on the car. I'm assuming you are running coil-overs. What are your spring rates like to allow for that much suspension travel on a launch?
