The blue with gold rims was supposedly a TXS Stage IV car with UTEC tune. Talked to a guy who had driven it and he said the boost delivery was funky, most likely because it was running a piggy back. You can find a 'new' 2003 for less than $22k right now. Mastro still has several on the lot.

Doctor Pressure- get to Mastro and buy an '03. a guy in my complex just bought one for $20,900ish. or save up and buy an '04 new body. i can't see buying used for only $3grand less.

I tend to agree with moldyhands despite my car being for sale and looking for a new owner.
Invoice on a 03 is 21,809 and if you can find a one for under invoice it's really a no brainer there. Invoice on a 04 is $22,472 but TMV is right around $24,061 and MSRP is $25,568.

George... go see Sean at Mastro.. he is a great sales man.. make sure you introduce yourself to Kyle at the parts area aswell.. let him know your a TR person... Sean sold me my WRX (well.. actually he didnt have to sell it to me.. lol)
WRXs are great little cars.. just be prepared to spend a little $$$ to make it fast.. they arent cheap.
and 722ish.. the wcooby sport is to me.. the best exhaust you can get for a WRXmaking less than 350 at the wheels.. and for any relatively stockscooby should be one of the first mods... by far the most low end torque of any out there.. and thats what subarus suffer from.. lack of low end off boost torque.

oh, and the sound was amazing.. the car sounded violent! it seemed kind of quiet until say 4500 and pop, it uncorked in full song... WOW! i didnt expect it at all! ive heard few people mention it before jumping on TR here, and in the past few months ive heard about it more than ever before... well, it sounded excellent on the dyno at least!
